The other day Linus asked me to make him a Blue Beetle out of construction paper. I’d never done that before, but I gave it a shot. The end result was clearly flawed though I was still reasonably happy with it. Then he decided that he wanted to do a Joker for himself. And not to make too much of it, but his kinda reminds me a bit of Marko Manev or Dennis de Groot or any of those guys who distill superhero iconography so effectively. At the very least, it’s way better than my Blue Beetle. And yet again I’m beaten by a 4-year-old.
